ABOUT
Mia Navarro is a designer and practicing artist living in Arlington, Virginia. Navarro received her BFA in graphic design from Virginia Commonwealth University. Navarro is currently contracted at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in the Exhibition Design department where she works on 3D modeling exhibitions, developing accessibility features for in-gallery use, and creating typographic and graphic elements for exhibitions.
In tandem with her contract, she runs a freelance design business Mia Navarro Design. Her freelance involves publication design, zine and bookmaking, photography, animation, web design, logos, and unique images. Navarro loves collaborating and working with people and fostering long-lasting creative relationships.
Her fine art practice revolves around double-exposure photography, bookmaking, and collaboration.
